COSMIC has built rando racing over the last 14 years into the Skimo racing we know today. The ski touring community is forever grateful to Pete Swenson and Joe Risi, among others, who contributed to this growth.

In the 2022-23 race season COSMIC will focus on 4/5 events and have a Colorado point series where points will be awarded for each race and CO racers will be able to see where they line up to become the COSMIC champion.

Everyone who signs up and races for any of the above races will be automatically included in the Colorado Ski Mountaineering Cup (COSMIC) points series and will be eligible for the end of season prizes, and recognition as the COSMIC Champion of Skimo in Colorado! The points series will be managed by Rocky Mountain Skimo.
